Great weather this morning in Edmonton, around 10 C. I arrived at the airport at 6:05 am and was lucky enough to get the emergency row seat with nothing in front me all the way too Inuvik! What a relief...The front half of the plane is cargo and the back of the plane is passengers. The guide in the seat in front of me was for a boeing 737, however when we were on the tarmac before we left there was a Westjet that had boeing 737 written on the side of it, and it was noticable larger. I have included some pics of the plane here maybe some of the campathon gang that are a litle more knowledgeable in this field can left me know?? This is the first flight in ten years that I have been on that had a full meal, then a snack then another snack. After each takeoff. The first was an ample serving of Cheddar and Ham frittah, carrot bread, and a yogurt. Then we had Bannock, followed by cookies, and everyone loves cookies. Canadian North has the best service ever. This airline is awesome!! When we got to Yellowknife the wind was exceptionally strong, and was only able to get a couple of pics. Currently in Yellowknife it is -1C, not bad leaving Yellowknife for Norman Wells. hte landscape is nothing that I could have ever expected and the pictures that you see do not even come close to describing what it is really like. It is gloriously incomprenhesible. It seems the futher north we go the colder it is lol, -14 C in Norman Wells, and a new air port to boot.
